Insomnia Gaming Festival is the longest-running UK games festival; hosting up to 100,000 customers each year.

The Festival has a long and proud history of being a community-led show. We are constantly working with our community on ways in which we can adapt and diversify our content to ensure we build an inclusive space that is welcoming to all.

Working with Nintendo we have brought the UK Finals of the Smash Ball Team Cup to our Main Stage. We also worked with 2K to showcase the 10 Years Of Borderlands cosplay contest on our Insomnia Main Stage.

BYOC

Bring Your Own Computer – Where it all began, the spiritual home of Insomnia, our small LAN party has expanded over 21 years into the 2800-seater arena it is today. Community-focused activities and tournaments run in this 24-hour hall.

EXPO

Bringing the latest games, experiences and gaming tech to our engaged audiences, the Insomnia Expo gives our partners an exciting way to get their products into the hands of their communities and consumers.

ESPORTS

At Insomnia we bring a variety of prized and sponsorable tournaments for massive Esports titles. We regularly run over 20 tournaments, involving over 1000 participants, and thousands in prize funds.

CONTENT

Insomnia features a diverse range of content including VR, Cosplay, Tabletop games, Indie games and multiple stages. We also work with Content Creators and Streamers, bringing them to their audience.

Worked with Activision to create, plan and execute two of the European legs of the 2017 and 2018 World League at Insomnia60 and 62.

The Ubisoft Experience was a first of its kind, 2-day 4000 visitor show held at Insomnia65. We worked  with Ubisoft to deliver an event featuring a mix of experiential and hands-on content.

In 2017 we staged the Birmingham leg of the Zelda music world tour. The concert consisted of a 66 piece orchestra and a visual accompaniment on an LED panel screen.  We planned, promoted and event managed at our festival show.

The whole hall, separately ticketed event run on behalf of Riot.  LeagueFest was a mix of professional and amateur tournaments run over three days, along with a pub quiz, cosplay and other community activity.

MUSIC

At Insomnia60 we collaborated with Universal Music to programme, produce and promote a full music gig, with a variety of artists, as part of the festival’s evening activity.

At Insomnia63 we promoted and event managed two sell-out TV taping shows of WWE’s hottest new brand.  We also worked with international WWE Superstar Xavier Woods on more content collaborations throughout Insomnia.
