Player1 Events is responsible for producing, planning, promoting and delivering the Insomnia Gaming Festival as the flagship to a variety of other gaming, technology and esports events. We are a passionate group of people with great ambition to grow our business considerably over the coming months and years. Partnerships Account Manager

  • Drive sales from both existing and new commercial leads to deliver fit-for-purpose and engaging commercial content, relevant for our flagship gaming festival and bespoke events
  • Working alongside the Operations team, coordinate the content delivery and client liaise of event content areas across interactive and experiential partners and influencers, to deliver their contracted requirements
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify market trends and customer needs for relevant partners, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • Ensure all sales are accurately recorded, delivered and generate a profit for the business
  • Coordinate the partnership and delivery requirements across the Insomnia Gaming Festival
  • Support the Partnerships team in growing and maturing the sales and content pipeline, using Salesforce to manage accurately  
  • Be aware of competitor offerings and wider gaming industry trends to ensure Insomnia content is exciting and relevant
  • Assist the Partnerships team in the development of proposals and presentations for both Insomnia Gaming Festival and potential partner events
  • Be the point of contact for Creators at Insomnia Gaming Festival pre, during and post-show

IT & Logistics Technician

  • Coordination of hardware and event stocks, particularly involving but not limited to imaging preparation, PC & console maintenance and troubleshooting; and allocating correct level of assets to fulfil orders, and track returns
  • Working in the warehouse space to process event and customer orders, reconcile stock requests and coordinate information across departments using the project planning tools.
  • Contribute to developing the standard operating procedures for the logistics team to streamline processes
  • To be flexible in time management to ensure smooth planning and delivery of all resource requirements
  • Driving company or hired vehicles to support movement of equipment to and from event locations
  • On occasion, deliver stock management support out of the office on event sites
